Assisi & Christus Multi Academy trusts require: Head of SEND & Inclusion
Hours: Full Time
Salary: L9 – L12 Fringe
We are looking for a well-informed, experienced leader who has an excellent track record of providing outstanding support for children and young people in primary and/or secondary schools. You may have been part of a local authority team and /or worked closely with, senior leadership teams in schools. You may also have provided line management for a SENDCo.
This is a newly created position to support the SENDCos working in schools within both the Christus and Assisi Trusts, currently primaries and secondaries. While each school has its own well qualified and experienced SENDCo, we are now seeking to further develop and strengthen our inclusive Trust communities with the addition of further expertise of an experienced colleague to provide professional advice, guidance, and challenge. You will have an excellent knowledge of the code of practice and understand how scare resources can be deployed effectively to best support our most vulnerable children. You will have high levels of emotional intelligence, be solution focused and support staff to enable them to deliver excellent SEND provision.
